The Royal Hospital for Women, a major teaching hospital, offers accredited Obstetrics and Gynaecology training positions for Trainees Year 2–Year 4. The role focuses on delivering obstetric and gynecologic care in a busy, complex clinical environment with supervision appropriate to competence.

It is based within the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District and near UNSW and Coogee Beach, providing a supportive team and opportunities for education and development.

Formación

• Essential Requirements for the role are commensurate with the position.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, including leadership and direction.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised clinical environment with excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise.
• Demonstrated time management and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer skills.
• Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and commitment to self-education.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients in a complex clinical environment.
• Work under supervision according to competence to evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation.
• Work in inpatient and outpatient settings including birthing unit, theatres and clinics.
