Job summary

Sante Recruitment is assisting a coastal Victoria health service to recruit a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist for a major hospital redevelopment. The role blends clinical leadership with teaching, supervision and service development, in a RANZCOG-accredited training setting.

Ideal candidates will hold FRANZCOG or be eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA, and bring broad O&G expertise to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) or equivalent specialist qualifications.
• Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility to obtain specialist registration.
• Broad Consultant-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient-centred care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Interest in teaching, education and service development.

Responsibilities

• Managing a broad range of obstetric and gynaecological presentations.
• Caring for routine and complex pregnancies
• Providing antenatal and postnatal care

• Managing emergency O&G presentations
• Coordinating care for women with complex pregnancies

About You To Be Considered, You Will Have
