Job summary

RANZCOG accreditation and AHPRA eligibility are key prerequisites. You will deliver broad obstetric and gynaecological care, support complex pregnancies, supervise registrars, and contribute to ongoing education while

Qualifications

• Fellowship with FRANZCOG or equivalent specialist qualifications.
• Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility to obtain it.
• Broad consultant-level experience in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Responsibilities

• Managing a broad range of obstetric and gynaecological presentations.
• Carrying out routine and complex pregnancies.
• Providing antenatal and postnatal care.

The Opportunity Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join one of regional Victoria's leading health services.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Managing a broad range of obstetric and gynaecological presentations
• Caring for routine and complex pregnancies
• Providing antenatal and postnatal care
• Conducting specialist outpatient clinics
• Performing operative gynaecological procedures
• Managing emergency O&G presentations
• Coordinating care for women with complex pregnancies
• Working collaboratively with other medical, nursing and allied health teams
• Contributing to high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centred care
• Supporting the continued development of Women's Health services

Teaching, Leadership & Professional Development

This is a RANZCOG-accredited training service, making the position particularly attractive to Consultants who enjoy education, supervision and developing junior doctors.

About You To Be Considered, You Will Have

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG), or equivalent specialist qualifications
• Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility to obtain specialist registration
• Broad Consultant-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centred care
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• An interest in teaching, education and service development
