Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking an NV1 Security Officer for a casual position in Darwin, NT. You will patrol, respond to incidents, and maintain security with a strong customer-service focus, across day and night shifts. A valid Security Licence, NV1 clearance, First Aid/CPR, and full Australian working rights are required.

You will work on a 4-on, 4-off rotation, ensuring logs, access passes, and CCTV footage are properly managed, while upholding safety-first culture and professionalism.

Qualifications

• NV1 Clearance is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to work a mix of day/night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rotation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the arrival and departure of personnel on site.
• Maintain visitor and contractor logs.
• Issue access control passes, including visitor passes.
• Access historical CCTV footage when requested by the Security team.
• Operate walk-through and handheld metal detectors.
• Provide a professional and approachable security presence.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures.
• Adhere to all site and company security protocols.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records.

NV1 Security Officer – Casual

Location: Darwin, NT

About the Role

As a NV1 Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties.

Positions available: Casual

Potential earnings / Award Level 5

Shifts:

Weekday and weekend | Day and night shifts

Key Responsibilities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid Security Licence
• Must have an NV1 Clearance
• Ability to work a mix of day/night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rotation
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
• Good physical fitness, as patrols are required
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• A reliable and punctual work history
