Job summary

Queensland Health offers a temporary Undergraduate Student in Nursing - Medical Imaging role. You will assist a registered nurse with direct and indirect care within Medical Imaging, supporting patient-centred activities while developing professional skills in nursing or midwifery.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as an undergraduate nursing student.
• Support the registered nurse in direct/indirect patient care per NMBA framework.
• Adhere to safety, legislation and organisational standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing/midwifery team tasks delegated by the RN/Midwife.
• Work in accordance with NMBA Decision Making Framework and legislation.
• Coordinate nursing care professionally with the team and escalate concerns.
• Report sudden health status changes to the registered nurse/midwife.
