Job summary

TAFE NSW is seeking a temporary full-time Teacher of Nursing at Shellharbour and Moss Vale campuses from January 2027 to May 2027. The role delivers and assesses training for Certificate III in Health Services Assistance and Diploma of Nursing, guiding students to build practical skills and industry readiness.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor of Nursing with AHPRA RN registration, at least three years post-qualification industry experience, and a recognised teaching qualification for VET.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience (within last five years).
• Teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET) required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess training across Certificate III in Health Services Assistance and Diploma of Nursing.
• Support students to build practical skills and industry-ready capability.
• Provide professional education and facilitate learning to help students achieve their best outcomes.
