Job summary

CQUniversity invites applications for an Associate Professor in Nursing. You will provide academic leadership within the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences, guiding teaching, research and partnerships across campuses in Cairns, Mackay, Townsville or Rockhampton.

Qualifications

Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA.
Excellence in teaching, supervision and curriculum development across undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education.
Established research profile with publications in high-quality journals and success in securing competitive research funding.
Proven leadership capability in research, teaching and/or academic governance, with mentoring of colleagues.

Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the delivery of contemporary nursing curriculum and coordinate courses.
Supervise higher degree by research candidates and foster partnerships with healthcare providers and professional bodies.
Drive research performance and external engagement to enhance CQUniversity’s nursing education profile.
