Job summary

SA Health is seeking an Assistant in Nursing/Midwifery (AIN/M) in Penola to support Enrolled and Registered Nurses/Midwives in delivering person-centred care. You will assist with routine nursing duties, ADLs, and collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a safe, compassionate patient experience.

Under supervision, you will gain hands-on nursing skills, manage basic equipment, and contribute to a positive workplace culture within the Limestone Coast Local Health Network.

Qualifications

• Be undertaking a course approved by the Registration Authority for the preparation of Enrolled Nurses.
• Have experience providing nursing/midwifery care in healthcare settings.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and teamwork.
• Understand your scope of practice and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine nursing care and activities of daily living.
• Prepare for nursing procedures and provide procedural support.
• Assist with stock management and equipment cleaning within your scope.
