Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking a locum consultant anaesthetist for a short-term cover at a South Australian public hospital in Port Augusta. On-call duties and theatre lists will form the core responsibilities during the assignment from 30 October to 1 November 2026.

Travel and accommodation are included, and AHPRA registration is required. Consultant level is preferred, but a GP Anaesthetist will also be considered.

Qualifications

• Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Consultant preferred, GP Anaesthetist considered for locum cover.
• Covering on-call and theatre lists during the shift period.

Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic services for on-call periods and surgical lists.
• Coordinate with surgical team for theatre cases during the assignment.
