Position Summary

We are seeking 8 reliable and experienced Nurserypersons to support daily nursery operations, including plant propagation, cultivation, maintenance, and general nursery duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Propagate plants through seeding, cutting, grafting, and other propagation methods.
  • Plant, water, fertilise, prune, and maintain nursery stock.
  • Monitor plant health and identify pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
  • Apply fertilisers and pest control treatments in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Prepare plants for sale, distribution, or transplanting.
  • Operate basic nursery equipment and tools.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of nursery and work areas.
  • Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures at all times.
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience working in a plant nursery or horticultural environment.
  • Knowledge of plant propagation, growing techniques, and plant care.
  • Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks.
  • Good attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications (Preferred but not essential)
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent experience.
