Job summary

ASQ Garden & Landscape Pty Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor for our Nursery and Yard team in Maryborough, VIC. You will lead a team to ensure safe, efficient daily nursery operations and provide excellent customer service.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage staff, recruit, train, and uphold safety protocols while developing supplier relationships and contributing to product presentation and order planning.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant tertiary qualification in Horticulture or industry training.
• Minimum two years of horticulture and supervisory experience.
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays as required (penalty rates apply).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Strong work ethic, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a culture of safety first and ensure WHSE compliance.
• Oversee safe and efficient daily operation of the nursery and yard.
• Manage staff, participate in recruitment, and provide training and feedback.
• Allocate tasks to staff based on strengths and expertise.
• Provide insights for plant ordering and contribute to product range.
