Job summary

Princess Alexandra Hospital is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to lead and coordinate perioperative services within the Division of Surgery Operating Theatres. You will champion person-centred care, oversee staffing, resources and budgets, and drive best-practice outcomes with a strong focus on governance and continuous improvement.

You will lead teams, manage workforce planning and rostering, monitor budgets, and promote evidence-based practice to enhance patient safety and theatre efficiency

Qualifications

Requires registered nurse with perioperative expertise.
Proven ability to lead clinical teams and drive safe patient care.
Experience in governance, risk management and service improvement.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced clinical and operational leadership for perioperative practice.
Oversee workforce planning, rostering, budgets and cost centre accountability.
Drive clinical governance, quality improvement and compliance with standards.
Build a collaborative team culture with staff development and succession planning.
