Latrobe Regional Health is recruiting a Nurse Unit Manager for the Macalister Unit in Gippsland. You will lead clinical, operational and strategic delivery of recovery-focused mental health care in an inpatient setting, guiding multidisciplinary teams and driving service development.

The role requires Division 1 RN with current AHPRA and postgraduate mental health nursing qualifications, at least five years of senior nursing experience, and strong governance, communication and stakeholder

Qualificações

Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration and postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing.
Extensive mental health nursing experience with at least five years in leadership/management roles.
Knowledge of contemporary mental health practice and the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving workforce planning and development.
Experience managing budgets, resources, and quality indicators.

Responsabilidades

Provide clinical, operational and strategic leadership for the Macalister Unit.
Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams through workforce planning and performance management.
Oversee unit budgets, staffing, quality indicators and regulatory compliance.
Drive quality improvement, governance, research and service development initiatives.
Build partnerships with consumers, carers, clinicians and community partners.
Oversee patient flow, clinical review processes and evidence-based care.
