Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) is seeking a Senior Nurse Unit Manager for the Adelaide CBD location. You will lead nursing and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high quality care and positive outcomes across statewide Older Person and Community Transition services.

You’ll drive team performance, workforce priorities, practice alignment with standards, and build strong partnerships within clinical and support teams to improve care quality. Flexible work options available.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current registration and eligibility.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards, legislation and health policy.

About the Role

Lead nursing and multidisciplinary teams across Statewide Care of the Older Person and Community Transition, supporting safe, high quality care and positive outcomes.

  • Lead and coordinate patient care across the service
  • Manage team performance, culture and workforce priorities
  • Strengthen practice, policy alignment and care quality
  • Build strong partnerships across clinical and support teams
About You

You’ll bring strong clinical leadership, a collaborative approach and a commitment to person and family centred care.

  • Registered Nurse with current or eligible registration
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and conflict skills
  • Experience managing teams and leading change
  • Strong multidisciplinary and consumer engagement skills
  • Knowledge of relevant standards, legislation and health policy
