Job summary

Darling Downs Health is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to lead a high-performing nursing team, delivering safe, patient-centred care while guiding clinical practice and service improvements.

You will coach staff, manage workforce, resources and budgets, and work with multidisciplinary colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for patients, staff and community. This role requires current RN registration and strong leadership in healthcare.

Qualifications

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant professional board.
  • Demonstrated leadership in healthcare service delivery and team management.
  • Strong skills in clinical governance, quality improvement and contemporary nursing practice.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, lead change and support positive team culture.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in nursing, leadership, health management or related discipline.
