Job summary

SA Health is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager for Lyell McEwin Hospital, Ward 1B, in the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network. This ongoing full‑time role offers a leadership path in a high‑volume, public hospital environment.

You will provide visible clinical leadership, support roster and staff development, and drive improvements in care delivery and patient throughput while upholding SA Health governance standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with eligibility to practice in Australia as per NMBA.
• Experience in an acute inpatient setting and leadership roles.
• Ability to mentor staff and lead in a fast‑paced ward environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day clinical leadership across Ward 1B.
• Assist with roster management, staff supervision and performance support.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure governance compliance.
• Support patient flow, care coordination and escalation processes.
