Wide Bay Hospital & Health Service invites applications for two permanent full-time Nurse Practitioner roles in Hervey Bay and Maryborough, QLD. You will provide leadership, clinical governance, case management and complex mental health care within the Emergency Medicine Department.

The package offers up to $188,624 p.a. including salary range $158,343–$165,319 p.a., employer super up to 12.75% and annual leave loading 17.5%, with flexible work arrangements and professional development.

Your opportunity:

• The Nurse Practitioner, within the individuals credentialed scope of practice, provides nursing leadership, clinical governance, case management and complex clinical care and support for consumers presenting with suspected mental or behavioural health concerns within the Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM).
• As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, the Emergency Mental Health Parallel Care Clinician uses their advanced skills to deliver timely, trauma‑informed, and recovery‑oriented care to children and young people, adults, and older persons presenting with suspected mental health, substance use, and/or behavioural health concerns within the DEM.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $188,624 p.a., comprising salary between $158,343 - $165,319 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 8) (Two Permanent Full Time Positions, 76 hours p.f.).
