About the roleThe Nurse Practitioner Candidate - Acute Care Mental Health provides advanced clinical nursing care within Metro North Mental Health - Redcliffe Caboolture, while undertaking supervised training and development toward endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner. Working across acute and community mental health settings, the role supports the delivery of comprehensive, individualised and evidence-based care for consumers experiencing complex mental health needs.The successful candidate will develop advanced skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing and referral under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist and Nurse Practitioner.
