The Nurse Educator – Rogerson Theatre within the Women’s and Children’s Health Network (SA Health) provides education for Recovery & Anaesthetics nurses, developing curricula, materials and evaluation of learning programmes. You will plan, coordinate and deliver education to support professional development and improved patient care.

• Registered nurse with NMBA registration and current practicing certificate.
• At least 3 years post‑registration experience as a nurse/midwife.
• Competence in peri‑operative nursing and patient safety standards.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evaluate education programs for Recovery & Anaesthetics nurses.
• Coordinate learning experiences, materials and development planning.
• Support change processes, risk management and service improvement.
• Monitor research activities to enhance nursing practice and delivery.
• Provide mentorship and clinical education leadership.
