Job summary
Queensland Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Educator to provide advanced clinical and educational leadership within the Nursing and Midwifery Practice Development Unit in the Logan/Bayside region. You will design, deliver and evaluate contemporary nursing education programs, supporting safe, person-centred care and workforce development across specialty areas.
Ideal candidates will have NMBA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, and a proven track record in education,
Qualifications
- Experienced RN with advanced clinical knowledge and strong education leadership.
- Proven experience developing, delivering and evaluating nursing education programs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with a focus on team growth.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and a relevant qualification.
Responsibilities
- Lead development, delivery and evaluation of evidence-based nursing education programs.
- Use advanced clinical knowledge to support contemporary practice and translate evidence into education.
- Partner with Nurse Unit Managers and multidisciplinary teams to identify learning needs and develop educational plans.
- Drive a culture of learning, enquiry, innovation and continuous improvement, including quality initiatives and simulation-based education.
