Job summary

Department for Education in South Australia seeks a Leader, Numeracy Policy (Primary/Secondary) to drive system-level numeracy policy, practices and professional learning. You will work with cross-divisional teams, leaders and partners to deliver evidence-informed policy and equity-focused outcomes.

This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE role offered for a three-year term, with leadership responsibilities across SA’s public education system and opportunities for professional impact and career growth.

Qualifications

• Essential tertiary qualification in education.
• Current full teacher registration.
• WWCC working with children check required before employment and renewed every five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide system-level leadership and specialist expertise to numeracy policy, practice and professional learning.
• Lead and contribute to research, policy development, resource design and evaluation.
• Support leaders and educators to implement high-quality numeracy practices aligned with priorities.
