Job summary

Westmead Hospital Nuclear Medicine Department in Sydney is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist Level 2 to deliver advanced imaging in a busy tertiary healthcare setting. The role offers a 9-day fortnight and opportunities for ultrasound training as part of ongoing professional development.

You will perform a broad range of nuclear medicine and PET procedures, prioritize patient safety and participate in multidisciplinary education and research.

Qualifications

• Must hold MRS (Nuclear Medicine) or be completing.
• Registered with AHPRA and MRPB.
• Licensed with EPA S14, IA27, IA16 or IA16D.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine and PET procedures to high clinical standards.
• Safely calculate, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
• Provide patient care, education and procedural support.
• Conduct quality control and support radiation safety practices.
• Participate in research, professional development and student supervision.
• Contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
