Melbourne Health in the Parkville precinct seeks a skilled Nuclear Medicine practitioner to deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging within a multidisciplinary Medical Imaging team. You will perform a broad range of studies and radiopharmacy procedures in line with best practice and departmental protocols.

Qualificações

• Current AHPRA registration as Medical Radiation Practitioner.
• Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent recognised by AHPRA.
• Current Department of Health Radiation Use Licence, or eligibility to apply.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical skills, initiative and a patient-centred approach to care.
• Commitment to ongoing learning, safety and high-quality patient care.
• Experience in PET/CT or radionuclide therapy is highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake a full range of imaging and laboratory Nuclear Medicine studies.
• Rotation through all services provided by the Department of Nuclear Medicine.
• Participate in our after hours on call service (Grade 2 only).
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with radiation safety legislation and department protocols.
• Ensure accurate and timely information is provided to patients and appropriate hospital staff.
• Actively support less experienced staff members and students on clinical placement.
• Participate in departmental quality control, assurance protocols and OH&S procedures.
• Perform duties in accordance with Melbourne Health policies and procedures.
