Job summary

Cabrini Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Malvern team. You will perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures with a patient-centered approach, supporting a busy, multidisciplinary department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent.
• Registration with AHPRA is required.
• Current Radiation Use Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging procedures to a high professional standard.
• Contribute to quality control, daily department operations and on-call roster.
• Assist with departmental procedures and patient care in a dynamic clinical setting.

Equipped with two Nuclear Medicine cameras (SPECT/CT) and a new Digital PET camera , the department delivers high-quality imaging to support a wide range of clinical needs. The department performs a full suite of Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging studies, supporting specialties including oncology, cardiology, and neurology. In addition to diagnostic imaging, Cabrini offers a variety of targeted therapies such as radioactive iodine (I-131) for thyroid disease, Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT), OncoBeta therapy for non-melanoma skin cancers, and Theranostic treatments using Lu-177 PSMA for prostate cancer. Cabrini Nuclear Medicine and PET is also actively involved in numerous clinical trials, contributing to advancements in cancer care, heart disease evaluation, and neurological imaging. **How you will make an impact:**We are seeking a dynamic Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our comprehensive Nuclear Medicine and PET Department at Cabrini Malvern. Working within a supportive and collaborative environment, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to a high professional standard. Key responsibilities include conducting imaging examinations, assisting with the efficient daily operation of the department, contributing to quality control and assurance programs, and participating in the departmental on-call roster.
