Job summary

Lumus Imaging is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our friendly team in our medical imaging department. The role primarily focuses on PET/CT, with opportunities to work in CT, in a private practice setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine examinations.
• AHPRA registration.
• Experience in NM with SPECT/CT; PET/CT knowledge is an advantage.

The Opportunity:

Lumus Imaging are currently looking for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our young friendly professional team working in our medical imaging department. Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor your main role will be in PET/CT and you will also have the opportunity work in CT.

This is a great opportunity to be involved with our expansion and get yourself into a full time or part time role with our very experienced, close knit Nuclear Medicine team.

To be successful:

• Commitment to the provision and promotion of quality health care within the confines of a multi-camera private practice setting
• Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine examinations employing correct techniques to the accepted industry standard or above
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel
• A recognised qualification in Nuclear Medicine
• Experience in general NM and SPECT/CT, with a knowledge of PET/CT, CT and Siemens imaging platforms being an advantage.
• AHPRA registration
