Job summary

Education Perfect in NSW is seeking an experienced Geography Curriculum Advisor to support the development of our online Geography offering for Stages 4 and 5. This contract-based role involves reviewing curriculum alignment and learning pathways to ensure content is accurate, relevant and aligned with the NSW Geography curriculum.

The project starts in early November 2026 and runs through mid-December 2026, with an estimated 20 hours of work for a total contract payment of AUD 2,000.

Qualifications

We’re looking for an experienced NSW Geography Curriculum Advisor to support the development of our online Geography offering for Stages 4 and 5. In this contract-based role, you’ll review our curriculum alignment and learning pathways, providing expert recommendations to ensure our content is accurate, relevant and aligned with the NSW Geography curriculum.

This is an opportunity to contribute your curriculum expertise to an education platform used by teachers and students, helping shape high-quality digital learning resources that support effective classroom teaching.

• Have a strong understanding of the NSW Geography curriculum across Stages 4 and 5
• Have experience reviewing curriculum alignment, learning pathways or educational resources
• Can identify gaps, prioritise improvements and make practical recommendations to strengthen curriculum coverage
• Are passionate about supporting teachers and improving student learning through high-quality digital resources
• Have experience with Education Perfect or other EdTech platforms (an advantage, but not essential)

Project details

The project will commence in early November and continue until mid-December 2026. We anticipate approximately 20 hours of work, with a total contract payment of $2,000 AUD.

The work will involve:

• Curriculum alignment review: Review our Geography curriculum alignment across Stages 4 and 5 and recommend any changes needed (approximately 8 hours).
• Learning pathway review: Review the existing learning pathways and recommend improvements (approximately 8 hours).
• Prioritisation of fixes and gaps: Prepare for and participate in a collaborative session to prioritise identified gaps and improvements (approximately 2 hours).

The remaining time will allow for project preparation, collaboration and follow-up as needed.
