Job summary

Q-CTRL is building a new Product Introduction (NPI) team in Sydney to transform cutting-edge sensing technologies into market-ready products.

As an NPI Technician, you will help define workflows, design our workspace, and establish repeatable assembly and test processes that scale with prototypes to production. You will work with engineers and scientists to drive manufacturability and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV or Diploma or equivalent trade experience assembling, integrating, and maintaining electromechanical, optical, or instrumentation systems.
• Hands-on experience with lab tools and instrumentation; ability to follow/define procedures.
• Comfort interpreting schematics and CAD drawings; meticulous build records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and troubleshoot complex prototypes and subsystems across electrical, mechanical, and optical domains.
• Set up and run functional, environmental, and reliability tests with defined criteria.
• Draft work instructions, assembly guides, and test protocols with careful configuration tracking.
