Job summary

SPC Global Pty Ltd is seeking a Food Technologist to support our multi-category portfolio, leading product development from concept to commercialisation for local and global markets. You will work with Sales, Operations and Quality to translate insights into quality, cost-effective packaging and products for B2B customers.

Responsibilities include rapid prototyping, trial plans, and maintaining specifications while exploring flavour trends and technologies to drive innovation and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, planning and organisation skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities required.
• Independently capable and well-organised with multiple tasks.
• Experience in food technology or QA roles preferred (2–5 years).
• Graduate with relevant degree and industry certifications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Development from ideation to launch.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations & Quality on B2B product requirements.
• Develop products and packaging meeting quality, regulatory and cost targets.
• Create experimental plans and test new products.
• Maintain specifications across portfolio using internal systems and controls.
• Identify cost savings opportunities with suppliers and customers.
