The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure NSW – Taree is seeking an Area Manager, North Coast to lead a diverse team across the NSW North Coast. You will provide strategic and operational oversight of Crown land functions, including property management, asset management, and compliance, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement.

The role requires leadership, planning and financial management capabilities, and willingness to travel across the North Coast region.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team across multiple locations on the NSW North Coast.
• Provide strategic and operational oversight across Crown land functions.
• Manage property/tenure, reserve and asset management, compliance and natural resources.
• Deliver ground-based operational works and stakeholder collaboration.
• Engage with Crown Land Managers, tenure holders, councils and government agencies to deliver outcomes.
