Job summary

Asahi Beverages is seeking a Maintenance Fitter at our Huntingwood, NSW site to keep our packaging and production lines safe, reliable and running at peak performance.

This permanent, full-time role operates on a fixed 3 night, 12-hour shift structure within a 24/6 manufacturing site. You will perform maintenance tasks, drive preventative programs, and support operational teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications with exposure to manufacturing environments in food/beverage or complex industrial manufacturing.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Safety-focused and process-driven mentality.
• Experience with reliability management in FMCG manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialised maintenance and diagnostics across packaging and production equipment.
• Own and improve preventative maintenance programs for your area of responsibility.
• Coach and support operational teams with technical expertise.
• Lead scheduled and breakdown maintenance, including execution of maintenance days.
• Ensure machines are set up correctly and contribute to continuous improvement of plant capability.
