Job summary

Teys FoodSolutions is seeking Night Shift Cleaners to join the cleaning team at our Morningside processing site in Queensland. These full-time roles run Monday to Friday from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am, with occasional weekend work as required.

You will play a hands-on role upholding high hygiene and safety standards across production areas. Responsibilities include equipment cleaning, sanitising machinery, waste removal, and ensuring compliance with food safety requirements before production restarts.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a cold wet environment.
• Availability to work 8:00 pm to 4:30 am and occasional weekends.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a small team.
• Australian resident with full working rights in Australia.
• Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol test.
• Be able to provide two reference checks.
• Food industry experience, preferably meat.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble processing equipment.
• Clean and sanitise production machinery and work areas.
• Operate hoses and specialised foaming equipment.
• Remove waste and maintain a clean work environment.
• Complete cleaning tasks in accordance with food safety requirements.
• Inspect and verify cleaning standards before production recommences.
