Job summary

Yunex Traffic is seeking a Labourer - Civil to support ITS and TCS installation projects across the O&M portfolio in Sydney. The role involves construction, modification, and testing of assets with a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.

The position offers 70% night shift and 30% day shift, with overtime potential depending on client needs. A full driving licence is required, and on-the-job training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Training will be provided where required in the relevant asset categories.
• High level of verbal and written communication is necessary to liaise with customers and teams.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction and reconstruction of assets such as Traffic Control Signals (TCS), VMS and AWS/VSLS signage.
• Perform electrical testing of ITS assets and prepare equipment for final installation.
• Install or modify TCS and ITS assets on-site and ensure work meets specifications.
• Maintain site safety practices and complete on-the-job and formal training as needed.
• Liaise with customers and other contractors on site to coordinate works.
