Cochrane's Transport in Gillman, SA, is seeking a qualified HR Night Country Driver to join our modern fleet. You'll conduct long-distance regional runs, delivering general freight and bread to established customers, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Departures from the Gillman depot occur between 7:00pm and 9:00pm, with runs averaging 10–12 hours and up to five nights per week. The role is paid on a trip rate, with a competitive rate based on the runs completed.

Qualifications

• HR Licence or greater.
• Forklift Licence (desirable)
• BFM Accreditation (desirable)
• Must be willing to learn and operate multiple runs
• Ability to safely complete general freight and bread deliveries
• Adhere to all load restraint and transport regulations
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• Availability to work across a Monday through to Sunday operation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service
• Previous experience in the transport industry
• Adaptable, reliable and customer-focused

Responsabilités

• Complete long-distance regional runs
• Deliver general freight and bread to established customers
• Approximately 15–20 deliveries per run
• Depart Gillman depot in the evening and return next morning
• Work up to five nights per week
• Observe load restraint and transport regulations
