Job summary

Roadmaster Refrigerated Transport in Altona VIC is seeking a Forklift Operator / Yard & Warehouse - Night Shift. You will support yard, truck bay and warehouse operations, with forklift coverage during peak periods or when others are on leave.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, hold a current forklift license, and be capable of operating a tine forklift. The role requires safe, efficient handling and collaboration with drivers to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trucks at the depot.
• Identify and report damaged stock or pallets.
• Maintain a safe and orderly facility environment.
• Monitor temperatures of fridges/freezers in the depot.
• Collaborate with drivers to address fatigue risks.
• Back up trucks/trailers onto loading docks when required (tug truck skills).
