Job summary

Gen Physio is seeking a New Graduate Occupational Therapist to join the Logan team. You’ll begin in a formal graduate program with structured onboarding and gradual caseload progression.

Work will include community visits, early intervention, home modifications, assistive tech, rehab, and virtual care, with supervision and MDT support to help you grow your skills quickly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy completed and eligible to practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for diverse clients.
• Ability to work in community settings with supervision and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide graduate OT support across community practice settings.
• Conduct functional capacity assessments and early intervention activities.
• Assist with home modifications and adaptative equipment recommendations.
• Support patients with mental health, rehab, and virtual care options.
• Collaborate with MDT including other therapists to tailor care plans.

Stepping out of uni into your first allied health role is a big leap, our graduate program is built to support you through it from day one, at a pace that works for you.

As a Graduate OT with Gen Physio, you'll get broad exposure across community practice, functional capacity assessments, early intervention, home modifications, assistive technology, mental health support, rehabilitation, and virtual care! So you can find and grow the areas you love.

Location:Mobile community caseload built around your home suburb — seeking candidates based in Logan.

Salary Information:
Base Salary: $80,000
Package incl 12% super: $89,600

• Structured 6-week onboarding to help you find your feet and set up for success
• Gradual caseload progression at your pace, with built-in admin time to review and reflect
• 1:1 supervision with experienced in-house OT Supervisors
• Group supervision with the wider Gen Physio OT team across QLD & VIC
• Regular skills assessments to build your caseload around your interests
• MDT catch-ups with Physios, Speechies, PODs, Dietitians and Exercise Physiologists
• Client Services support to manage bookings as you grow your caseload

What do you need to have?

• Tertiary qualifications (Completion of an approved Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy)
• Drivers license & vehicle
• National Police Check, First Aid, and CPR (or willing to obtain)
• Public Indemnity (PI) Insurance with a minimum of $10m cover (or willing to obtain)
• NDIS Workers screening (or willing to obtain)
