Job summary

Coforge in Australia is seeking an experienced Network SME to design, implement, troubleshoot and optimize enterprise networks, serving as the highest escalation point for complex issues.

You will drive routing, switching, wireless, security, SD-WAN and cloud networking initiatives across on-premises and cloud environments, mentor engineers, and participate in architecture reviews. This role requires strong problem solving and stakeholder engagement to deliver reliable networking solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting enterprise LAN/WAN networks.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols and network security principles.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and perform RCA.

Responsibilities

• Design and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, GRE, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Manage switching technologies including VLANs, STP, VXLAN-EVPN, and Cisco Nexus platforms.
• Support and optimize enterprise Wi-Fi/WLAN environments.
• Integrate and manage networking solutions across AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Provide Level-3 support, lead major incident (P1) calls, and perform detailed RCA.
• Support Palo Alto firewalls and network security solutions.
• Participate in solution design, technical assessments, and architecture reviews.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.
