This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of innovative, customer-focused network pricing and forecasting strategies that support efficient network utilisation, affordability, regulatory compliance and shareholder value.

Working closely with the Regulatory & Economic Strategy Manager, colleagues within the Regulation & Investments team and key stakeholders across the business, you’ll provide strategic expertise in network tariff design, revenue forecasting and regulatory pricing reform. You’ll play a key role in enabling Endeavour Energy to respond effectively to changing customer behaviours, electrification and the uptake of distributed energy resources, climate-related impacts and evolving market frameworks, and engaging with our customers and the Australian Energy Regulator.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with data, and translating technical analysis into practical business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior subject matter expertise in network pricing strategy and reform, including the design, development and implementation of cost-reflective, customer-focused pricing strategies that support efficient network utilisation, affordability, regulatory compliance and shareholder value.

  • Provide expert regulatory pricing advice and input to revenue resets, determinations, Tariff Structure Statements, regulatory submissions and industry policy reform to influence outcomes with regulators, market bodies and government agencies.
  • Apply advanced forecasting, modelling and data analytics to assess customer behaviour, network usage, revenue impacts, tariff reform opportunities and emerging market trends.
  • Assess the strategic pricing implications of the energy transition, including electrification, distributed energy resources, battery storage, solar PV, electric vehicles, large loads and changing customer participation in energy markets.
  • Translate complex pricing, tariff and regulatory matters into clear advice and communications that support customer, retailer, consumer advocate and internal stakeholder understanding and engagement.
  • Provide high-quality commercial, regulatory and economic advice to support executive and business decision making on pricing strategy, network utilisation, demand management and shareholder value.
  • Collaborate and influence across Regulation and Investments, Finance, Strategy, Innovation, Future Grid, Asset Management and Corporate Development to embed pricing considerations into strategic planning and business initiatives.
  • Ensure pricing activities, methodologies, proposals and external submissions are robust, evidence-based, well-governed and compliant with legislative, regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and thought leadership by identifying opportunities to improve pricing frameworks, analytical methods, stakeholder engagement and strategic responses to evolving market, customer and regulatory challenges.
