Job summary

Frequentis Australasia is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise networks across air traffic and public safety sectors. You will work with LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and firewalls while ensuring security and high availability.

You’ll engage with customers and international teams to meet project requirements and document configurations and interfaces. A background in mission-critical networks is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Network Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise, defence, aviation, or mission‑critical networks.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, QoS, VPNs, and network redundancy.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve network performance, connectivity, and integration issues.

We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to join a dynamic, collaborative team leading the advancement of air traffic management technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent networking technologies.

Knowledge of network security principles, firewalls, segmentation, and secure design practices.

Experience with testing, troubleshooting, monitoring tools, and network documentation standards.

Strong customer-facing communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem‑solving skills.
