Job summary

Wipro is seeking an experienced Senior Network Architect / Lead Engineer to drive large-scale Data Center Network Modernization initiatives, focusing on Cisco Nexus, NDFC, VXLAN EVPN, and data center switching and routing.

The role requires hands-on implementation in enterprise environments, strong technical leadership, architectural expertise, and the ability to collaborate with customers, project managers, architects, and vendors to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data center networking experience with proven leadership.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 series.
• Experience delivering large-scale data center modernization projects.
• Strong understanding of VXLAN EVPN, multi-site/multi-pod deployments.
• Expertise in BGP/OSPF/IS-IS/EIGRP MP-BGP EVPN.
• Familiarity with network automation using Python, APIs, Ansible, and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, migration, and optimization of Cisco Nexus-based data center networks.
• Architect and deploy VXLAN EVPN Multi-Site/Multi-Pod solutions using NDFC.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor a team of network engineers.
• Develop HLDs, LLDs, migration strategies, implementation plans, and test procedures.
• Drive data center transformation and modernization projects from design through delivery.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, architects, and vendors to ensure successful outcomes.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex network issues.
• Support network automation and orchestration initiatives using Python, Ansible, APIs, and scripting.

• Strong understanding of Data Center Interconnect (DCI), resiliency, and disaster recovery architectures.
• Experience with network automation using Python, REST APIs, Ansible, JSON, or Shell scripting.
