Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Sydney seeks a senior software architect to design and implement APIs, microservices, and full-stack applications. You will drive end-to-end delivery, champion a Build it, Own it, Run it culture, and influence architecture across multiple teams.

You will embed SRE and DevSecOps practices, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and business stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes, leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery.

What You’ll Do

You will driveend-to-end design and implementationof APIs, microservices, and full-stack applications.

You will leverageAI-powered tools(Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate delivery.

You will mentor engineers and uplift development practices not only in the crew but influence across crews.

What We’re Looking For

You will have proven experience incloud-native development (preferably AWS)andbanking domain systems.

You will have strong skills inprogramming languages like C#, React, TypeScript, and .Net framework

You will have expertise inmodern architectural patterns, system design,distributed systems, andsecure coding.

You will have familiarity withKafka, Redis, DynamoDB, containerisation (Docker), and observability tools.

AWS certification is highly regarded.

Leadership capabilities, including:

• Driving technical strategy and influencing architectural decisions across teams.
• Coaching and mentoring engineers to grow their technical and leadership skills.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships and communicating complex technical concepts clearly.
