Job summary

Recruitment Hive is seeking a .NET Developer for a 12 + 12 month contract with a federal government department in Canberra, ACT. The role focuses on C# enterprise software development, SDLC adherence, and automated build/deploy pipelines using .NET and Microsoft technologies.

The candidate will work within an Agile framework, leveraging Azure DevOps and cloud-based application development, delivering well-documented, testable code in a secure, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Visual Studio.
• Proficiency in MS Suite, Azure DevOps, and Miro or similar.
• Backend development experience using web API and SQL technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in SDLC.
• Strong experience with automated build and deployment scripting in .NET (Framework and modern .NET).
• Demonstrated experience with cloud-based applications development.

Our Client, a large Federal Government Department responsible for the organisation, conduct and oversight of federal elections are looking for a .NET Developer on a 12 + 12 Month Contract.

Duties of the .NET Developer:

• Participating in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to develop and enhance a C# based, n-tier, enterprise software and associated documentation in accordance with the client Standards.
• Developing automated application build and deployment scripts using .NET (Framework and modern .NET), and the broader Microsoft technology stack.
• Following the Agile Methodology for software development using tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Ability to produce well designed, documented, and testable code.
