Job summary

INDT Pty Ltd, a Mackay-based NDT and inspection business, seeks ISO9712 Level 2 NDT Technicians to be based in Mackay, Queensland. You will perform inspections aligned with client specs and support mining equipment projects.

Applicants must hold Level 2 ISO9712 in Ultrasonics Welds or Magnetic Particle, be able to travel from Mackay, and show strong analytical and communication skills. Training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 2 ISO9712 qualification in at least one of the following fields: Ultrasonics Welds or Magnetic Particle.
• Experience with heavy mining equipment is advantageous.
• Willingness to work away from Mackay base for periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Carry out NDT inspections in line with client requirements.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site.
• Support mining projects in Central & North Queensland.

Job description

INDT Pty Ltd is a Mackay-based NDT and Inspection business that commenced operations in 2004. In this time INDT has grown to be the preferred supplier to many of the Bowen Basin mining houses and local workshops. We offer an expanding number of NDT, Inspection, and Mechanical testing services around Central & North Queensland workshops and Bowen Basin mine sites.

Due to further growth, we are currently seeking ISO9712 Level Qualified NDT Technicians to be based in Mackay, Queensland.

Applicants require Level 2 ISO9712 qualifications in at least one of the following fields:

• Ultrasonics Welds- Level 2
• Magnetic Particle- Level 2

Experience with heavy mining equipment would also be advantageous.

We offer mentor-based on-the-job training and structured classroom training via ATTAR for the gaining of further ISO9712 certifications.
