## NDIS Support CoordinatorApplylocations: Windsor, Queenslandtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR100665**Join an Organisation dedicated to Closing the Gap in Indigenous Health****About Us?**The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.The Disability Services team lead the IUIH NDIS pilot project that will ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability aged 0-64 years in service areas of south-east Queensland are individually assisted and are supported by the Disability Services Support Coordination team to utilise their NDIS plan funds for services that the participant wants and needs. IUIH is committed to breaking down barriers and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in an endeavour to address the unacceptably low rate of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participant numbers accessing their funding under the NDIS.**About the Role?***Opportunity available for qualified or junior applicants – Full time or part time (minimum 4 days per week).*As a NDIS Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting NDIS participants in interpreting their NDIS plan, assisting them to implement the supports in their plan, managing their budget and developing their capacity over time to coordinate and manage their own supports.
