Job summary

ForHealth Group seeks a National Nurse Manager – Urgent Care to provide national clinical leadership across our Urgent Care network. The role reports to the Director of Urgent Care and will guide clinical governance and policy across clinics nationwide.

The successful candidate will influence clinical quality, people and service delivery, while mentoring regional managers and driving best practices in urgent care across Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner and/or Paramedic.
• Master’s Degree – highly regarded.
• Minimum 3 years’ clinical supervisory experience, people and operational management.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in emergency/urgent care nursing and/or paramedicine.
• Urgent Care experience – highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of local, state and national requirements.
• Knowledge of Urgent Care and healthcare service delivery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and project management capability.
• Proactive, accountable and solutions-focused leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide national clinical leadership across Urgent Care.
• Act as a clinical subject matter expert for new Urgent Care developments.
• Support the planning and implementation of new Urgent Care Clinics.
• Drive clinical governance, quality, compliance and risk management.
• Monitor clinical incidents, identify trends and address root causes.
• Support workforce planning and strategic recruitment.
• Mentor Regional Nurse Managers across the national network.
• Drive a high-performance culture through coaching and leadership.
• Support development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
• Lead and promote clinical training and professional development.
• Use performance data to support operational improvements.
• Collaborate with senior clinical, operational and P&C stakeholders nationally.
