Job summary

Evolve Scientific is seeking a Tank Integrity Engineer/Inspector to manage inspection, condition and maintenance of about 1,200 tanks across Australia. The role is field-based, ensuring tanks remain safe, compliant, and fit for service.

You will coordinate inspections, interpret findings, prioritise safety-critical assets, and drive repair actions. The ideal candidate may come from engineering, asset integrity or inspection backgrounds, with additional consideration for Boilermakers, Welders or

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical or related discipline or trade background with strong tank experience.
• Experience with industrial tanks, asset integrity, inspection or maintenance in heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of corrosion and tank integrity to interpret findings and plan repairs.
• Willingness to travel nationally and work in confined spaces with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduled tank inspections across multiple Australian sites.
• Conduct and/or support internal and external tank inspections.
• Review inspection reports and interpret findings.
• Identify corrosion, leaks, deterioration and other integrity concerns.
• Prioritise safety-critical tanks and required maintenance actions.
• Coordinate tank repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain inspection schedules and compliance records.
• Work with Operations, Maintenance, contractors and inspection providers.
• Support repair activities and ensure actions are closed out.
• Travel regularly to sites across Australia.
