Job summary

Bentleys is seeking a National Audit Quality, Training & Innovation Specialist to translate national audit priorities into practical, sustainable outcomes across the Bentleys network. You will lead technical guidance, training programs and knowledge resources, develop and embed new technologies, and work with stakeholders nationwide to enhance audit quality and consistency.

• CA ANZ, CPA Australia or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant experience in external audit and assurance.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards, Australian Accounting Standards, ethics and quality management requirements.
• Experience developing technical guidance, training programs or quality initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skills.

About the Role

As the National Audit Quality, Training & Innovation Specialist, you will be responsible for translating national audit priorities into practical, sustainable outcomes across the Bentleys network.

The role combines technical leadership, learning and development, knowledge management and process improvement. You will provide guidance on complex audit and assurance matters, maintain national methodology and resources, develop training programs and work with stakeholders across the country to implement initiatives that enhance audit quality and consistency.

You will also play an important role in evaluating and embedding new technologies, automation and innovative ways of working that improve the effectiveness of our audit teams while maintaining the highest professional standards.

• National audit methodology, policies and technical guidance

• Training, capability development and knowledge sharing

• Audit templates, tools and quality resources

• Process improvement, technology and innovation initiatives
  

About You

You are an experienced audit professional with strong technical expertise and a genuine passion for audit quality, continuous improvement and developing others.

You have the ability to interpret complex technical requirements and translate them into practical guidance, learning solutions and resources that can be applied consistently across a national network. You are confident working with senior stakeholders, building relationships and influencing outcomes.

You will bring:

• CA ANZ, CPA Australia or equivalent professional qualification

• Significant experience in external audit and assurance

• Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards, Australian Accounting Standards, ethics and quality management requirements

• Experience developing technical guidance, training programs or quality initiatives

• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skills

Experience within audit methodology, professional standards, quality management, learning and development, or technology-enabled audit transformation will be highly regarded.
