Job summary

Action Workforce are currently seeking peak season Van Drivers at our well-known client in Singleton. The successful applicant will undertake multidrop deliveries in the Hunter Valley and surrounding areas, engaging face to face with customers in a busy environment.

You will use handheld scanners, complete runsheets and manifests, and participate in toolbox talks to maintain safety standards. The role requires a current C Class Licence and a clean driving record, with a Monday–Friday schedule

Qualifications

• Current C Class Licence
• Clean Driving Record
• Previous delivery driving preferable but not essential
• Ability to sort and load & unload vans of freight by hand
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Multidrop deliveries and pickups of general parcels, carton freight & medical supplies
• Use of handheld scanners whilst adhering to 100% scan compliance
• Accurately complete all paperwork including runsheets or manifest paperwork as needed
• Actively demonstrate a strong commitment to safety including regular participating in toolbox talks
• Sorting of freight and loading of vehicles prior to departing depot
