Job summary

VAT Talent, representing a client in Melbourne, is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Architect to lead scalable integration initiatives and API delivery. You will architect, build, and support MuleSoft integrations and APIs across enterprise systems while providing technical leadership on integration standards.

You'll collaborate with architects, developers, QA and business stakeholders, drive API-led connectivity, and contribute to governance, CI/CD, and documentation to ensure robust, scalable

Qualifications

• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led connectivity.
• Proven experience building REST and SOAP APIs for enterprise integrations.
• Solid experience with DataWeave, connectors, and message transformations.
• Good understanding of integration architecture and API design patterns.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Lead and contribute to API-led connectivity and reusable integration patterns
• Translate business and technical requirements into integration solutions
• Troubleshoot performance and integration issues
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and business stakeholders
• Support CI/CD, testing, and release processes
