Job summary

ChoiceOne is seeking an experienced MRI Radiographer to join our expanding imaging team across four Toowoomba sites. You’ll work primarily in MRI with opportunities to rotate through General X-ray and CT, and you’ll have a designated home site within the network.

The role offers a 4-day MRI focus, autonomy, and career development, with a $1,500 CPD budget and potential visa sponsorship for qualified candidates. You’ll mentor new graduates and collaborate with experienced radiographers.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of MRI experience.
• Strong General X-ray / CT skills.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Willingness to obtain ASMIRT Level 1 MRI accreditation within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Primarily MRI with rotation to General X-ray/CT.
• Work independently with Medical Imaging Assistant support.
• Roster includes 7am–8pm shifts and potential on-call.
• Modern imaging equipment: Siemens MRI, Siemens/Canon CT, Fuji/Shimadzu X-ray.
• Exposure across outpatients, ED and theatre imaging.

We’re looking for an experienced MRI Radiographer to join a well-established medical imaging team across four Toowoomba sites. About the Role

• You’ll primarily work within MRI, with the opportunity to rotate through General X-ray / CT depending on the roster.
• The role is suited to an MRI Radiographer who is confident working independently, with a Medical Imaging Assistant available to provide support.
• Some locations may have shift overlap or double ups with other Radiographers, however, the ability to work autonomously is essential.
• Span of hours: 7am– 8pm across a range of practices, with On-Call opportunities once comfortable
• Modern imaging equipment: Siemens MRI, Siemens & Canon CT, and Fuji/ Shimadzu X-ray
• General Radiography: Exposure across outpatients, ED and theatre imaging

What We’re Looking For
