Job summary

The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne is seeking an Allied Health Assistant for the Medical Imaging Department. This full-time fixed-term role supports imaging services, including assisting with patient scans, equipment, and daily operations in the MRI environment.

You will hold a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent), have at least three years of Grade 2 experience, and comply with AHANA code. The position is based in Parkville with salary packaging and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
• Minimum three years full-time equivalent experience as a Grade 2 (or equivalent).
• Comply with the AHANA Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Organise and assist with quality, timely and safe clinical care to patients and their families.
• Conduct structured patient screening activities as delegated to support assessment and management by Allied Health Professionals.
• Actively participate as part of a team to ensure ongoing excellence in service delivery and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Promote an environment of lifelong learning.
